The Chloride Ion Penetration Mechanism in Basalt Fiber Reinforced Concrete under Compression after Elevated Temperatures

نویسندگان

چکیده

Chloride ion penetration frequently leads to steel corrosion and reduces the durability of reinforced concrete. Although previous studies have investigated chloride permeability some fiber concrete, basalt concrete (BFRC) has not been widely investigated. Considering that BFRC may be subjected various exposure environments, this paper focused on exploring under coupling effect elevated temperatures compression. Results demonstrated content in increased linearly with temperature. After different temperatures, varied greatly increasing stress. The compressive stress ratio threshold for was measured. A calculation model diffusion coefficient mechanical damage (loading test) proposed.

Research on Chloride Penetration Resistance of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Self-Compacting Concrete

The properties of chloride penetration of hybrid fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete (SCC) were investigated in this study. The results show that the chloride penetration resistance of concrete can be improved by single incorporation either carbon or cellulose fibers. The concrete chloride diffusion coefficient DRCM of 12-cm length carbon SCC with fiber content of 1.7, 2.72, and 3.4 kg/m3...

Flow of Fiber-Reinforced Cement Slurries at Elevated Temperatures

Cement slurries are used for the construction of oil wells as deep as 30,000 ft (9,000 m). The severe performance requirements for such materials have prompted the search for appropriate fiber reinforcement to improve the slurry’s tensile strength, impact resistance, and fracture toughness, without decreasing its pumpability. A continuum theory for dilute suspensions of large-aspect-ratio parti...
